Christian rolled over from back to front yesterday! He can now do it both ways. He changes and grows so much everyday! It is amazing. I am just so excited. He will be 5 months old next week! Time sure goes by fast!

Just lovin' my little monkey!

Life is so amazing! I am so happy being a mommy! My little boy is so absolutely amazing. He is growing so fast and changing so much everyday. He is only 4 months old and I can't even remember what my life was like without him.

He makes everyday so special! I wish tomorrow wasn't Monday! I don't want to take him to grandma's! I want to stay home with him. . .

We are finally here and together. We moved in three weeks ago but it took forever to get this place in order. I had tons of crap! I still have to go through some things but at least everything has a home for the time being. I am so excited to have a place of our own!

We had some friends over for dinner tonight, it was nice to finally have a place to invite people! Kristi and Kori.... you need to come and visit!!

Well, I should be getting to bed. I have a very long day tomorrow!

I can't wait! In 3 days I will be moving into our own apartment! No one else lives there but us. It will be awesome! I just can't wait....

I am so excited about my first Mother's Day!! Yay!! I am going over to my dad's in the morning for a little brunch celebration and then Rob and I are taking our mommies out to dinner! I am just so excited!

Also, next Saturday Rob and I will be moving into our own apartment!! I am so excited to get a place of our own. I will be able to invite people over now!! Yay! It has a huge living room too! I just can't wait!

I can't believe Christian is already 2 months old. The time went by so fast. I had my first day back at work yesterday and had a major meltdown dropping him off. I didn't know it was going to be so hard to leave him!

I enjoyed the last two months spending time with him! Each day was amazing and watching him grow up is awesome. He seemed to change so much everyday that I feel like I am going to miss so much now that I don't get to see him all day.

Christian is amazing. He smiles so much and he is such a good baby. He is already eating every 4 hours and sometimes will sleep through the night although he has not done it consistently yet. I can't wait for that. Although I will kind of miss those late night feedings and snuggle sessions.

My little guy is 2 weeks old today! We have a pediatrician apt. tomorrow, I can't wait to find out how big he is! He was born at 5 lbs 9 oz. We left the hospital 2 days later at 5 lbs 7 oz. We had a pediatrician apt last Tuesday, 4 days after being discharged and he was 5 lbs 13 oz.

I am so glad that he is doing well and I can't even believe 2 weeks has gone by already...

He cried a little bit just after being put into the water, after that he did great. He really seemed to like it! When we washed his hair, he was so calm and mellow. Just looking around. Even when we poured the water on his head he didn't move at all. It was like he was completely relaxed after his bath!

It's time to be with my beautiful baby boy!

I had a doctor's apt. today....

He said I had high blood pressure so he ordered up some blood work. He didn't seem to concerned but wants to see me again on Friday. He did check me which I should have denied, but oh well... I guess I was just curious...

He said, " well it looks like your cervix says, no" Hahaha! In other words my cervix was soft but nothing else is going on. I have a feeling I am going to go past my due date... I don't know why... just do.

I will be working on my birth announcements and scrapbook this week at my grandma's. I have been trying to spend as much time with her as I can. My grandfather's service is on Saturday....

My grandfather passed away today....

I was at the hospital today when he left us. I am glad that he was not alone. I still can't believe that he is gone. I keep trying to focus on all the great times with him. He lived an amazing life and we all loved him so much.

I spent the rest of the day with my family. I know he is at peace and in a better place. A pain free place.

It's not good...

I went to the hospital to say my goodbyes....

He is on morphine for the pain but they can't do anything else for him. He has not been well for quite some time. I know that this is for the best but it still hurts like hell! I will miss him so much....

I know this probably sounds selfish.... but I really wanted him to meet Christian.

My family is okay with everything, they know it's for the best. My grandmother is okay. I will be spending a lot of time with her the next couple of months.

My grandfather has not been doing very well for the past year. He has been hanging on but not well....

My grandmother had knee surgery on Wednesday and is supposed to come home from the hospital today.

My grandfather took a turn for the worst and had to go to the emergency room tonight. His blood pressure is dropping and I don't know what his status is as on right now.

I hope he will be okay....

It's all I can think about....

My whole family is at the hospital. I can't go because I have a had a little cold and I don't want to do anything to jeopardize his condition in any way. My cousin has been keeping me updated by text....

ahhhh!!!! Please let him be okay!

I haven't posted in a while a thought a picture post would be a great way to catch up...

I had a blast! I can't wait to get everything put away and organized. I will post pics of the baby "nursery" soon!

My last day of work is this Friday. I am so excited about that. I haven't been sleeping because of heartburn and insomnia, so my days have been getting worse. I had such a good pregnancy, I miss feeling great!

Yesterday was the shower for friends and co-workers! It was beautiful. My friend Jill put together a tea at a friends house. The table had color themes and everyone had a different mug that they got to take home with them.

There was lots of food. Wow! I wanted to try everything but didn't have room by the end. I had a great time! I will have to post pics later.

I missed you Jeri & Kristi!! I wish you both could have been there. Thank you so much for the gift you brought by! I hope you both will be around for those questions and advice calls! hahaha! I am determined!

Kori as always the life of the party. I am so happy you were able to make it. Thanks for the laughs and the gift card! You rock!

Today was my family baby shower. I had so much fun. It was at the Tea Garden in Santa Clarita. We had yummy little sandwiches with no crust, scones, tea and other yummy desserts. It was a small shower for family.

Wow, reflecting on 2008 was actually so amazing for me. So many amazing things have happened this past year.

I married the man of my dreams.
I found out I was pregnant.
I found out it was a boy!
We named him Christian Alexander!
I went on the most amazing honeymoon to Costa Rica.
I have made amazing new friendships and reconnected with old ones.
I was asked to be a MOH in a friends wedding.
I have started to have a much more healthy relationship with my dad.
My brother is really starting to make something of his life.
I have been spending more time with my mom and my grandma.

My new years resolutions:
To be the best mom, wife and friend that I can.
Work on saving to get our own place.
Lose the pregnancy weight =)
Eat healthy and work out.
